What do SAS 'STEM Ambassadors' do?

STEM Ambassadors get involved in a huge range of activities, which can all have an impact on young people’s learning and enjoyment of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.  The Shropshire Astronomical Society uses all things 'space' as its focus for its activities.

We are able to offer a number of activities on a range of topics depending on age and experience of the students and the availability of ambassadors.

We have in the past built and tested model rockets, constructed star maps and used members equipment for observing sessions.

Our in-class presentations cover curriculum content using models and role play but we are adaptable to your needs.
